PostSubject: "Zeif" Skaam Plach.   Tue 08 May 2012, 9:58 pm

Name: Actual name Skaam Plach. Goes by Zyria's father's name, Zeif. Bullies call him "Plachy." If you dug deep enough (through Google Translate), you'd realize every part of his name, even Zeif, means 'shy' or 'weak.' It's all in his past, which everyone will find out eventually, if I make this guy an actual character.

Location: Charon of Pluto. (Note: Homeland is the P4 Moon.)

Position (who do you serve under/as what): Third in Command of Plutonian Army. Serves Zyria.

Appearance (feel free to include a pic): Wears glasses. He can't get them surgically fixed, because they're too damaged. He's not short, really, sort of average, height-wise, but he's so skinny that he seems tiny. While most Plutonians have naturally dark blond hair, Zeif's is more strawberry blond. His eyes are as most Plutonians, dark blue-green, but (while Zyria's are a 'bright' dark, in comparison) more a dark, sea-blue-green. These especially stand out, even behind his glasses. His skin is pale, but, well, most Plutonians' are, because they don't have much solar light to tan up. (Obviously, in my description, Plutonians are very humanoid, physically. Mentally, not so much.)
Personality: Timid. Shy. Awkward. He's got the ideas and the leadership, but he doesn't have the self-esteem and bravery to say them, let alone stand up for them. He's a full-on introvert, spending time thinking, not taking action (because of both the shy-ness and the introverted-ness). When he's forced immediately into something, he usually panics and fails, because he doesn't get the time he needs to think it all through, slowly.
Goals: He wants to meet Zyria, for one. Not the largest goal in his life, but he wants to meet the daughter of the person he named himself after. His main dream, though, is to research. He's just as geeky as every other scientist on Pluto. His mother forced him into the army, though, so he can't work towards becoming a scientist qualified to go out and make a difference.
Strengths (5 at MOST):
1:Deep down, there actually IS bravery.
2:He's smart. A born scientist. If you've seen Matilda (you know, that movie?), he was THAT kind of genius child. If he had the chance, he'd be the top scientist of Zyria's team.
3:Instincts. His gut feelings are so good, he would be accused of being psychic. The twist to this is in the Weakness section.
4:Will probably think of something later. I'm still deciding if I'm even going to add this guy or not.
Weaknesses (3 at LEAST):
1: Shy. Extremely. He's naturally quiet, and being an introvert doesn't help. This shyness then makes him awkward. It's a bad series of causes and effects.
2: He doubts himself. Even after he's thought it all through, he doubts it. Which does not help him trust his instincts. (Thus my twist to his 3rd strength.)
3:He's not trained/strong. Sure, he's in the army. But training doesn't teach as well as experience. Which he has none of. His smarts are basically the only reason he made it to such a high title.
Other: I'm not sure if I'm going to use him yet. He's not going to be the deepest of characters, but I was going to need a second/third in command at some point. And, after I started typing a reply that's going to introduce him, he seemed on the fine line between a flat character and a dynamic one. So, not decided yet. This is my start to see if he'll work.
Plot ideas: None, yet. He's going to save Pluto, right now, but that's about it. Nothing far down the line. Maybe if Erist-Tam ever needs a reason for Mari to get closer to the leaders, she could find this guy. Then both would get to go to the leaders, Mari with the ability to, and Zeif with the reason to. Meh, just typing out loud again, not really anything but an open option.

I'm not sure if I'm going to make this guy an actual character. He's not the deepest character, really. VERAX just decided to attack Pluto, so I needed to bring my Third-in-Command into play to save Pluto, and this guy sorta formed. Just figured, if I /do/ decide to bring him in, I'd have this typed out already. :3

Zeif was Azerbaijani, Skaam was Afrikaans, and Plach was Slovak, (from what I found, anyway) in case anyone else cares what languages those were.

Why thank you, Raulch. Your work spared a lot of lazy people the effort of wondering and not doing anything about finding out which language was for which. :3

Plach (well, plachy) is also Czech--which is the one I actually got it from--but it's the same for Slovak. Just an addition to the fyi.

No? Forgive me, planning universal domination can cause such small matters to slip the mind."

Approved, let the battle commence.
